Opening the ayah…
And We have left thereof an evident Sign, for any people who (care to) understand.
Translation: Abdullah Yusuf Ali

4-I guide
Allah left a clear sign from that town for people who think.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "What can old places teach those who think?"
The Noble Quran channel offers Yasser Ad-Dossary's full reading; try its opening.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "Who benefits from the sign?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "What lesson does the story of Lut teach?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-'Ankabut is surah 29. Find ayah 35. The key words ayatan bayyinah mean a clear sign. The ruins of that region remained as a reminder. People who use their minds, ya'qilun, learn from it: listen to good advice, stand up for what is right, and trust that Allah protects the believers.
Fact: Why can people float easily in the Dead Sea?
Ages 5–8: Salt water float. Float an egg in very salty water and see how salt changes water.
Ages 9–12: Story lessons. Write three lessons from the story of Lut that help you today.
Finish with: "I found that people float because ___."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will stand up for something right, even if it is hard."
Action: Stand up for something right, even if it is hard.
