Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "How can I collect things that last?" Younger children can draw theirs.

Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Qasas is surah 28. Find ayah 60. The key words khayrun wa abqa mean better and more lasting. Toys break, clothes get old, phones stop working. Rewards with Allah never fade. Enjoy good things, but invest in what lasts.

Fact: How old is one of the oldest known living trees on earth?

Ages 5–8: Last or fade. Sort items into things that break and things that last forever, like good deeds.

Ages 9–12: Lasting list. Write five things that will last in the Hereafter.

Finish with: "I found that the tree is about ___ years old."

Talk together:

• Which name of Allah does this remind you of?
• What lasts with Allah?
• How can we enjoy things without loving them too much?
• What would you like to ask about this ayah?

Make a small plan: "This week, I will do one deed for the Hereafter every day."
