وَإِذَا سَمِعُوا۟ ٱللَّغْوَ أَعْرَضُوا۟ عَنْهُ وَقَالُوا۟ لَنَآ أَعْمَٰلُنَا وَلَكُمْ أَعْمَٰلُكُمْ سَلَٰمٌ عَلَيْكُمْ لَا نَبْتَغِى ٱلْجَٰهِلِينَ
How to read it
Wa 'idhā samiʻū -llagh'wa 'aʻ'raḍū ʻan'hu waqālū lanā 'aʻ'mālunā walakum' 'aʻ'mālukum' salāmun ʻalay'kum' lā nab'taghī l-jāhilīna
And when they hear vain talk, they turn away therefrom and say: "To us our deeds, and to you yours; peace be to you: we seek not the ignorant."
