وَلَمَّا تَوَجَّهَ تِلْقَآءَ مَدْيَنَ قَالَ عَسَىٰ رَبِّىٓ أَن يَهْدِيَنِى سَوَآءَ ٱلسَّبِيلِ
Wa lammā tawajjaha til'qā'a mad'yana qāla ʻassā rabbī 'an yah'diyanī sawā'a ssabīli
Then, when he turned his face towards (the land of) Madyan, he said: "I do hope that my Lord will show me the smooth and straight Path."

As Musa turned towards Madyan, he said he hoped his Lord would guide him along the right way.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "How do you find your way somewhere new?"
Sheikh Shuraim recites on the IQRA AL-QURAN channel, with the words on screen.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "Where was Musa heading?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "How does Allah guide travellers?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Qasas is surah 28. Find ayah 22. The key words sawa' as-sabil mean the even, right path. Musa had no map, no food and no friends on the way. Still, he trusted Allah to guide him. Madyan lay to the east, beyond the Sinai desert.

Ages 5–8: Follow the path. Make a simple maze and find the right way through.
Ages 9–12: Guided steps. Write about a time you felt lost and found your way.
