قَالَ رَبِّ بِمَآ أَنْعَمْتَ عَلَىَّ فَلَنْ أَكُونَ ظَهِيرًۭا لِّلْمُجْرِمِينَ
Qāla rabbi bimā 'an'ʻam'ta ʻalayya falan' 'akūna ẓahīran llil'muj'rimīna
He said: "O my Lord! For that Thou hast bestowed Thy Grace on me, never shall I be a help to those who sin!"

Musa promised that, because of Allah's blessings on him, he would never support those who do wrong.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "What does it mean to be on the right side?"
Nouman Ali Khan explains the dua of Prophet Musa on TheMuslim channel. Play the first few minutes.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What did Musa promise?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "How can I stay on the side of good?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Qasas is surah 28. Find ayah 17. The key word zahiran means a helper or supporter. After being forgiven, Musa made a firm promise. He thanked Allah by choosing never to help wrongdoing again. Gratitude shows in our actions.
