Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "Why did Allah return Musa to her?"

Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "What promises has Allah made to me?" Younger children can draw theirs.

Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Qasas is surah 28. Find ayah 13. The key words wa'd Allahi haqq mean Allah's promise is true. Allah promised in ayah 7 to return Musa, and here it happens. She even got to nurse her own son safely. Allah never breaks a promise.

Fact: How many ayat passed between Allah's promise and its fulfilment in this surah?

Ages 5–8: Promise jar. Write or draw one promise and put it in a jar to keep.

Ages 9–12: Kept promises. List three promises Allah makes in the Quran.

Finish with: "I found that ___ ayat passed between the promise and the return."
