۞ فَمَا كَانَ جَوَابَ قَوْمِهِۦٓ إِلَّآ أَن قَالُوٓا۟ أَخْرِجُوٓا۟ ءَالَ لُوطٍۢ مِّن قَرْيَتِكُمْ ۖ إِنَّهُمْ أُنَاسٌۭ يَتَطَهَّرُونَ
famā kāna jawāba qaw'mihī 'illā 'an qālū 'akh'rijū 'āla lūṭin mmin qar'yatikum' . 'innahum' 'unāssun yataṭahharūna
But his people gave no other answer but this: they said, "Drive out the followers of Lut from your city: these are indeed men who want to be clean and pure!"

Their only reply was to tell each other to throw Lut's family out of the town because they wished to stay pure.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "Have you ever been teased for doing the right thing?"

Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "Why did they want Lut's family out?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why would anyone mock purity?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah An-Naml is surah 27. Find ayah 56. The key word yatatahharun means they keep themselves pure. Lut's people mocked his family for being clean and good. Sometimes doing right brings teasing. Staying pure is still worth it.
Fact: What does the Arabic word tahara mean?
Ages 5–8: Clean and good. Draw ways to keep your heart and body clean.
Ages 9–12: Teased for good. Write how to stay strong when teased for doing right.
Finish with: "I found tahara means ___."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will keep doing right even if someone teases me."
Action: Keep doing right even if someone teases you.
