وَلُوطًا إِذْ قَالَ لِقَوْمِهِۦٓ أَتَأْتُونَ ٱلْفَٰحِشَةَ وَأَنتُمْ تُبْصِرُونَ
Wa lūṭan 'idh' qāla liqaw'mihī 'ata''tūna l-fāḥishata wa'antum' tub'ṣirūna
(We also sent) Lut (as a messenger): behold, He said to his people, "Do ye do what is shameful though ye see (its iniquity)?

Lut asked his people why they did such a shameful deed while fully aware it was wrong.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "Is it hard to speak up when everyone is doing wrong?"
Stories of the Prophets tells about Lut and Ishaq. Play the first few minutes.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What did Lut ask his people?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "How did Lut find courage?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah An-Naml is surah 27. Find ayah 54. The key word al-fahishah means a shameful act. Lut's people did something deeply wrong and knew it. Lut bravely spoke up, even though he was almost alone. Speaking up for what is right takes courage.
Fact: Near which sea do many scholars place the people of Lut?
Ages 5–8: Brave voice. Practise saying 'That's not right' calmly.
Ages 9–12: Standing alone. Write about someone who stood for the right when others did not.
Finish with: "I found it is the ___ Sea."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will speak up calmly if I see something wrong."
Action: Practise a brave voice.
