قَالَ يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلْمَلَؤُا۟ أَيُّكُمْ يَأْتِينِى بِعَرْشِهَا قَبْلَ أَن يَأْتُونِى مُسْلِمِينَ
Qāla yā'ayyuhā l-mala'u 'ayyukum' ya''tīnī biʻar'shihā qab'la 'an ya''tūnī mus'limīna
He said (to his own men): "Ye chiefs! which of you can bring me her throne before they come to me in submission?"

Sulayman asked his council which of them could bring him her throne before her people arrived submitting.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "What is the hardest task you have ever been asked to do?"

Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What did Sulayman ask for?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why did Sulayman want the throne brought?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah An-Naml is surah 27. Find ayah 38. The key word ya'tini bi-'arshiha means bring me her throne. Sulayman planned a sign to show the queen Allah's power. The throne was far away in Saba. Who could bring it so quickly?
Fact: Which surah calls Allah's Throne the Great Throne in its ayah 129?
Ages 5–8: Fetch it. Time how fast you can bring a book from another room.
Ages 9–12: Big task. Write how you would move something heavy from far away.
