Qāla rabbu l-mash'riqi wal-magh'ribi wamā bay'nahumā . 'in kuntum' taʻ'qilūna

Musa said Allah is the Lord of the east, the west and everything between, if they would only think.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "Who brings the sun up in the east every morning?"
Play only a little. On Quranic Recitations, Mahmoud Khalil Al-Husary recites Ash-Shu'ara; listen closely.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What did Musa say about east and west?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why did Musa mention sunrise and sunset?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Ash-Shu'ara is surah 26. Find ayah 28. The key words al-mashriq wal-maghrib mean the east and the west. Pharaoh could not make the sun rise or set. Musa pointed to something no king controls. Using reason leads to the truth.
Fact: Which ayah of Al-Muzzammil calls Allah Lord of the east and the west?
Ages 5–8: Sun path. Mark where the sun rises and sets from your window.
Ages 9–12: Reason. Write how thinking about sunrise points to Allah.
Finish with: "I found it is ayah ___ of Al-Muzzammil."
