4-I guide
The Prophet is told to be gentle and humble, lowering his wing to the believers who follow him.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "What does a mother bird do with her wings?"
Ustadh Majed Mahmoud talks about lowering the wing of humility on Miftaah Institute.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "To whom should the Prophet lower his wing?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "What does lowering the wing mean?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Ash-Shu'ara is surah 26. Find ayah 215. The key words ikhfid janahak mean lower your wing. Like a bird gently covering its chicks, the Prophet was to be gentle and humble with believers. Leaders should be caring, not harsh.
Fact: Which ayah of Al-Isra uses the same picture of lowering the wing of humility to parents?
Ages 5–8: Gentle wings. Draw a bird covering its chicks with its wings.
Ages 9–12: Gentle leaders. Write how a gentle leader treats people.
Finish with: "I found it is ayah ___ of Al-Isra."

Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will be gentle with younger children."
Action: Be gentle with younger children.
