مَآ أَغْنَىٰ عَنْهُم مَّا كَانُوا۟ يُمَتَّعُونَ

All their years of enjoyment will be of no use to them then.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "What will matter when everything else is gone?"
Just a few minutes, please. Let Abdullah Basfar's recitation, from Quranic Recitations, set a calm mood.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What will not help them?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why won't enjoyment help?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Ash-Shu'ara is surah 26. Find ayah 207. The key words ma aghna 'anhum mean it will not avail them. Fun and comfort do not protect anyone in the Hereafter. Only faith and good deeds do. Enjoy the good, but invest in what lasts.
Fact: Which ayah of Al-Layl says wealth will not help when a person falls?
Ages 5–8: What lasts. Sort pictures into 'fun now' and 'lasts forever'.
Ages 9–12: Invest in lasting. Write how to enjoy life while building for the Hereafter.
Finish with: "I found it is ayah ___ of Al-Layl."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will do one lasting good deed every day."
Action: Do one lasting good deed every day.
