Qāla 'alam' nurabbika fīnā walīdan walabith'ta fīnā min' ʻumurika sinīna
(Pharaoh) said: "Did we not cherish thee as a child among us, and didst thou not stay in our midst many years of thy life?

Pharaoh reminded Musa that they had raised him as a child and that he had lived with them for many years.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "How do people sometimes use favours to control others?"
It is a long video. On Haramain Translations, Saud Ash-Shuraim recites Ash-Shu'ara; listen closely.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What did Pharaoh remind Musa of?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why did Pharaoh mention Musa's childhood?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Ash-Shu'ara is surah 26. Find ayah 18. The key word nurabbika means we raised you. Pharaoh tried to make Musa feel guilty. He used old favours to avoid the real issue. A favour does not give someone the right to do wrong.
Fact: Where did Musa grow up, according to Surah Al-Qasas?
Ages 5–8: Kind or controlling. Act out a kind favour and a favour used to control.
Ages 9–12: Changing the subject. Write how people dodge a real issue.
Finish with: "I found Musa grew up in ___."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will do a favour without expecting anything back."
Action: Do a favour without expecting anything back.
