The people of Thamud rejected the messengers too.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "Who were the people of Thamud?"
It is a long video. Sit quietly and hear Khalid Al-Jaleel from the Quran Al-Qarim channel.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "Who denied the messengers this time?"

Find it in the mushaf: Surah Ash-Shu'ara is surah 26. Find ayah 141. The key word Thamud is the name of an ancient Arab people who lived after 'Ad. They were skilled at carving homes in rock. Like those before them, they rejected the messengers.
Fact: In which region of north-west Arabia do many scholars place Thamud's homes?
Ages 5–8: Rock homes. Draw a house carved into a cliff.
Ages 9–12: After 'Ad. Write how Thamud's story follows 'Ad's.
Finish with: "I found it is the region of ___."
