فَكَذَّبُوهُ فَأَهْلَكْنَٰهُمْ ۗ إِنَّ فِى ذَٰلِكَ لَءَايَةًۭ ۖ وَمَا كَانَ أَكْثَرُهُم مُّؤْمِنِينَ
Fakadhdhabūhu fa'ah'lak'nāhum' . 'inna fī dhālika la'āyatan . wamā kāna 'ak'tharuhum mmu''minīna
So they rejected him, and We destroyed them. Verily in this is a Sign: but most of them do not believe.

After 'Ad rejected Hud they were wiped out, a lesson that most people still ignore.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "What lesson do the ruins of the strong teach?"

Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What happened to 'Ad?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "What did their strength not protect them from?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Ash-Shu'ara is surah 26. Find ayah 139. The key word ahlaknahum means We destroyed them. One calm line: 'Ad's strength and buildings could not save them. Their story is a sign about pride and humility.
Fact: Which ayah of Al-Haqqah describes the wind sent to 'Ad?
Ages 5–8: Ruins and lessons. Draw an empty tower with a lesson written beside it.
Ages 9–12: 'Ad's lesson. Write what 'Ad's ruins teach visitors.
