The people of 'Ad also rejected the messengers.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "What do you know about the strong people of 'Ad?"
Muslim Ummah shares ayah 123 in a very short clip.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "Who denied this time?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Who were the people of 'Ad?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Ash-Shu'ara is surah 26. Find ayah 123. The key word 'Ad is the name of an ancient Arab people. They were strong, wealthy and great builders. Like Nuh's people, they denied the messengers. A new story begins with the same pattern.
Fact: Which surah is named after the sand dunes where 'Ad lived?
Ages 5–8: Desert people. Draw tall buildings in a desert.
Ages 9–12: Pattern spotting. Write what is the same between Nuh's and Hud's stories.
Finish with: "I found it is Surah ___."
