ٱنظُرْ كَيْفَ ضَرَبُوا۟ لَكَ ٱلْأَمْثَٰلَ فَضَلُّوا۟ فَلَا يَسْتَطِيعُونَ سَبِيلًۭا
Unẓur' kay'fa ḍarabū laka l-'am'thāla faḍallū falā yas'taṭīʻūna sabīlan
See what kinds of comparisons they make for thee! But they have gone astray, and never a way will they be able to find!

Look at the comparisons they invent about the Prophet; they have lost the way and cannot find the right road.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "What happens when you follow a wrong map?"

Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What has happened to those who make these comparisons?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why do insults lead people further astray?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Furqan is surah 25. Find ayah 9. The key word amthal means examples or comparisons. Instead of thinking about the message, the deniers kept inventing labels. Labels do not lead anywhere.
Fact: How does a compass needle find north?
Ages 5–8: Wrong map. Follow a silly map that leads nowhere, then a correct one.
Ages 9–12: Labels and truth. Write why calling names never answers an argument.
Finish with: "I found a compass needle points north because of ___."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will answer a disagreement with reasons, not labels."
Action: Answer a disagreement with reasons, not labels.
