Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What makes people matter to Allah?"

Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "How often do I call on Allah?" Younger children can draw theirs.

Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Furqan is surah 25. Find ayah 77. The key word du'a'ukum means your calling on Him. Our worth before Allah comes from turning to Him. The surah closes by reminding us to keep calling on Him.

Looking back: Surah Al-Furqan began with the Criterion that separates truth from falsehood and answered the deniers' excuses one by one. It showed signs in shadow, rain, seas and sky, and ended with a portrait of the servants of the Most Merciful.

Fact: Which ayah of Ghafir says your Lord says call on Me and I will answer you?

Ages 5–8: Dua jar. Write one dua on a slip of paper each day and put it in a jar.

Ages 9–12: Surah portrait. List the habits from ayat 63–76 that you want to build.

Finish with: "From Al-Furqan, the lesson I will keep is ___."

Make a small plan: "This week, I will make dua after every prayer."
