Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What did they refuse to do?"

Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "What does my sajdah mean to me?" Younger children can draw theirs.

Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Furqan is surah 25. Find ayah 60. This is an ayah of sajdah: many people prostrate when they recite it. The deniers pretended not to know ar-Rahman. Pride kept them from bowing. For us, sajdah is the closest moment to Allah.

Ages 5–8: Calm sajdah. Practise a slow, calm sajdah and say subhana rabbiyal a'la.

Ages 9–12: Pride and prostration. Write why pride makes bowing hard and humility makes it easy.
