Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "Why did the Quran come in stages?"

Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "How does learning step by step help me?" Younger children can draw theirs.

Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Furqan is surah 25. Find ayah 32. The key word tartila means in measured, ordered stages. The Quran was revealed over about twenty-three years. Each part came at the right time and made hearts firm.

Fact: Over about how many years was the Quran revealed?

Ages 5–8: Little by little. Build a tower one block a day for a week.

Ages 9–12: Step by step. Plan how you could memorise a short surah in small parts.

Finish with: "I found it was revealed over about ___ years."
