Start with bismillah.

Ask: "Have you ever watched a bird glide without flapping?"

The Glorious Quran has Raad Muhammad Al-Kurdi's full An-Nur. Play a few minutes.

Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "Which creatures does the ayah name?"

Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "How does a bird praise Allah?" Younger children can draw theirs.

Find it in the mushaf: Surah An-Nur is surah 24. Find ayah 41. A sign to ponder: birds hold their wings out and ride the air. Allah says each creature knows its own way of praying and praising Him. We can't hear it all, but Allah knows.

Fact: How do birds glide? Find out how wings make lift.

Ages 5–8: Paper bird. Fold a paper bird and test how far it glides.

Ages 9–12: Bird watch. Watch birds for 10 minutes and note how they fly.

Finish with: "I found wings make lift by ___."

Talk together:

• What do you notice about birds?
• Which name of Allah does this remind you of?
• How do you praise Allah?
• What other creatures might praise Allah?

Make a small plan: "This week, I will say subhanallah when I see a bird ___ (where)."

• Show your paper bird.
• Share your bird notes.
• Next time: the next ayah (24:42) says all belongs to Allah. Explore it together!
