وَلْيَسْتَعْفِفِ ٱلَّذِينَ لَا يَجِدُونَ نِكَاحًا حَتَّىٰ يُغْنِيَهُمُ ٱللَّهُ مِن فَضْلِهِۦ ۗ وَٱلَّذِينَ يَبْتَغُونَ ٱلْكِتَٰبَ مِمَّا مَلَكَتْ أَيْمَٰنُكُمْ فَكَاتِبُوهُمْ إِنْ عَلِمْتُمْ فِيهِمْ خَيْرًۭا ۖ وَءَاتُوهُم مِّن مَّالِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلَّذِىٓ ءَاتَىٰكُمْ ۚ وَلَا تُكْرِهُوا۟ فَتَيَٰتِكُمْ عَلَى ٱلْبِغَآءِ إِنْ أَرَدْنَ تَحَصُّنًۭا لِّتَبْتَغُوا۟ عَرَضَ ٱلْحَيَوٰةِ ٱلدُّنْيَا ۚ وَمَن يُكْرِههُّنَّ فَإِنَّ ٱللَّهَ مِنۢ بَعْدِ إِكْرَٰهِهِنَّ غَفُورٌۭ رَّحِيمٌۭ
How to read it
Wa l'yas'taʻ'fifi -lladhīna lā yajidūna nikāḥan ḥattā yugh'niyahumu -llahu min faḍ'lihī . wa-lladhīna yab'taghūna l-kitāba mimmā malakat' 'ay'mānukum' fakātibūhum' 'in' ʻalim'tum' fīhim' khay'ran . wa'ātūhum mmin mmāli -llahi -lladhī 'ātākum' . walā tuk'rihū fatayātikum' ʻalāl-bighā'i 'in' 'arad'na taḥaṣṣunan llitab'taghū ʻaraḍa l-ḥayāti ddun'yā . waman yuk'rihhhunna fa'inna -llaha min[m] baʻ'di 'ik'rāhihinna ghafūrun rraḥīmun
Let those who find not the wherewithal for marriage keep themselves chaste, until Allah gives them means out of His grace. And if any of your slaves ask for a deed in writing (to enable them to earn their freedom for a certain sum), give them such a deed if ye know any good in them: yea, give them something yourselves out of the means which Allah has given to you. But force not your maids to prostitution when they desire chastity, in order that ye may make a gain in the goods of this life. But if anyone compels them, yet, after such compulsion, is Allah, Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful (to them),
