Push back bad with what is better, for Allah knows well what they say.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "What happens when you answer rudeness with kindness?"
Murottal Quran Indonesia (Al-Quran) has a short clip of Islam Sobhi reciting ayat 93–118. Play it all.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What should we answer bad with?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why is kindness stronger than anger?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Mu'minun is surah 23. Find ayah 96. Allah teaches a powerful habit: when someone is unkind, answer with something better. Allah knows what they said; we don't need to get even.
Fact: Find a similar ayah in Fussilat that says an enemy can become a friend (41:34).
Ages 5–8: Kind answers. Role-play answering a rude sentence kindly.
Ages 9–12: Turning it around. Write about a time kindness changed someone.
Finish with: "I found it in Surah ___, ayah ___."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will answer unkindness with kindness."
Action: Answer unkindness with kindness.
