أَمْ تَسْـَٔلُهُمْ خَرْجًۭا فَخَرَاجُ رَبِّكَ خَيْرٌۭ ۖ وَهُوَ خَيْرُ ٱلرَّٰزِقِينَ
'Am' tas''aluhum' khar'jan fakharāju rabbika khay'run . wahuwa khay'ru rrāziqīna
Or is it that thou askest them for some recompense? But the recompense of thy Lord is best: He is the Best of those who give sustenance.

The messenger asked them for no payment, because his Lord's reward is far better, and Allah provides for all.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "Would you trust someone who helps you for free?"
Play a few minutes of Abdur-Rahman As-Sudais on WayToJannah.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "Whose reward is better?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why didn't the messenger ask for money?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Mu'minun is surah 23. Find ayah 72. The Prophet asked for no fee. His reward was from Allah, who provides better than anyone. This shows his sincerity.
Fact: Which name of Allah means the Provider? (Ar-Razzaq.).
Ages 5–8: Free help. Help someone without asking for anything.
Ages 9–12: Sincerity. Write how you can tell someone is sincere.
Finish with: "I found the Provider is ___."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will help ___ for free."
Action: Help for free.
