Opening the ayah…
وَلَئِنْ أَطَعْتُم بَشَرًۭا مِّثْلَكُمْ إِنَّكُمْ إِذًۭا لَّخَٰسِرُونَ

"If ye obey a man like yourselves, behold, it is certain ye will be lost.

4-I guide
The leaders warned their people that obeying a man like themselves would make them losers.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "Have you ever been told not to do something good because 'everyone' says so?"
Only a few minutes are needed: Haitham Al-Dukhain recites Al-Mu'minun on مؤسسة قطر.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What did the leaders say would happen if people obeyed him?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why were the leaders scared?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Mu'minun is surah 23. Find ayah 34. The leaders frightened people to keep them away from the truth, maybe because they feared losing power. Real loss is turning away from Allah, not following a good messenger.
Fact: Which surah begins by swearing by time and says people are in loss, except some? (Al-'Asr.).
Ages 5–8: Follow the good. Play follow-the-leader, choosing only kind actions.
Ages 9–12: Real loss. Write what real loss and real gain mean, using Surah Al-'Asr.
Finish with: "I found it is Surah ___."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will choose the good thing even if others don't: ___."
Action: Choose the good.
