إِنْ هُوَ إِلَّا رَجُلٌۢ بِهِۦ جِنَّةٌۭ فَتَرَبَّصُوا۟ بِهِۦ حَتَّىٰ حِينٍۢ
'In' huwa 'illā rajulun[m] bihī jinnatun fatarabbaṣū bihī ḥattā ḥīnin

They said Nuh was only a madman and told each other to wait and see.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "How do you feel when someone calls you names?"
Alafasy shares Mishary Alafasy's recitation of Al-Mu'minun. Listen to a short stretch.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What did they call Nuh?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "How did Nuh stay calm when insulted?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Mu'minun is surah 23. Find ayah 25. Name-calling is what people do when they have no good argument. Nuh stayed patient. Many prophets were called names, yet they kept on with kindness.
Fact: For how many years did Nuh call his people? Find it in Surah Al-'Ankabut, ayah 14.
Ages 5–8: Calm breath. Practise slow breathing when you feel upset.
Ages 9–12: Name-calling. Write how to respond calmly to name-calling.
Finish with: "I found Nuh called them for ___ years."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will answer unkindness calmly."
Action: Answer unkindness calmly.
