Ask: "If someone pushes you, what is fair, and what is better?"

Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "Which two names of Allah end the ayah?"

Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why does the ayah end with forgiveness?" Younger children can draw theirs.

Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Hajj is surah 22. Find ayah 60. Islam allows a fair response, never more than the harm. But the ayah ends with Allah's names of pardon and forgiveness, hinting that forgiving is even better. Allah allows fair justice only through proper authority, and He loves those who forgive. If someone hurts you at school, do not hit back; tell a teacher or your parents, and try to forgive, because Allah pardons and forgives.

Fact: Find the ayah that says forgiving is closer to taqwa (Al-Baqarah 2:237).

Ages 5–8: Better than fair. Role-play answering a push by walking away and telling an adult.

Ages 9–12: Fair and better. Write the difference between fair and forgiving.

Finish with: "I found it in Surah ___, ayah ___."
