۞ وَأَيُّوبَ إِذْ نَادَىٰ رَبَّهُۥٓ أَنِّى مَسَّنِىَ ٱلضُّرُّ وَأَنتَ أَرْحَمُ ٱلرَّٰحِمِينَ
wa'ayyūba 'idh' nādā rabbahu 'annī massaniya ḍḍurru wa'anta 'ar'ḥamu rrāḥimīna
And (remember) Job, when He cried to his Lord, "Truly distress has seized me, but Thou art the Most Merciful of those that are merciful."

Ayyub called to his Lord that hardship had touched him, and that Allah is the Most Merciful of all who show mercy.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "How would you ask for help politely when you're hurting?"
Listen together to a short recitation of ayah 83, shared by Muslim Ummah.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "How does Ayyub describe Allah?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why is Ayyub's du'a so gentle?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Anbiya is surah 21. Find ayah 83. Ayyub, peace be upon him, was very ill for a long time but stayed patient. His du'a doesn't complain; it simply tells Allah and praises His mercy.
Fact: Which prophet is famous for patience in illness? (Ayyub.).
Ages 5–8: Patient flower. Draw a flower standing in the rain to remember Ayyub's patience.
Ages 9–12: Polite du'a. Write a du'a in your own words like Ayyub's.
Finish with: "I found it is ___."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will make du'a for someone who is ill."
Action: Make du'a for someone who is ill.
