وَوَهَبْنَا لَهُۥٓ إِسْحَٰقَ وَيَعْقُوبَ نَافِلَةًۭ ۖ وَكُلًّۭا جَعَلْنَا صَٰلِحِينَ
Wa wahab'nā lahu 'is'ḥāqa wayaʻ'qūba nāfilatan . wakullan jaʻalnā ṣāliḥīna
And We bestowed on him Isaac and, as an additional gift, (a grandson), Jacob, and We made righteous men of every one (of them).

Allah gave Ibrahim his son Ishaq and, as an extra gift, his grandson Ya'qub, and made each of them righteous.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "What is a wonderful gift a family can have?"
Play a few minutes of Abdul Basit Abdus-Samad on Full Quran.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "Who were the gifts?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why are good children a gift?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Anbiya is surah 21. Find ayah 72. Ibrahim was rewarded with a righteous son and grandson. Righteous family is a great gift from Allah.
Fact: Which prophet was the son of Ya'qub? (Yusuf.).
Ages 5–8: Family tree. Draw a tree with Ibrahim, Ishaq, Ya'qub and Yusuf.
Ages 9–12: Righteous family. Write qualities of a righteous family.
Finish with: "I found it was ___."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will do something special for my parents."
Action: Do something special for your parents.
