وَجَعَلْنَا ٱلسَّمَآءَ سَقْفًۭا مَّحْفُوظًۭا ۖ وَهُمْ عَنْ ءَايَٰتِهَا مُعْرِضُونَ
Wa jaʻalnā ssamā'a saq'fan mmaḥ'fūẓan . wahum' ʻan' 'āyātihā muʻ'riḍūna
And We have made the heavens as a canopy well guarded: yet do they turn away from the Signs which these things (point to)!

4-I guide
Allah made the sky a protected roof, yet people turn away from its signs.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "What protects your house when it rains?"
Sit quietly and hear Saud Ash-Shuraim, posted by سعود الشريم. Only the start is needed.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What is the sky called here?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "How does the sky protect us?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Anbiya is surah 21. Find ayah 32. A sign to ponder: the atmosphere shields us from harmful rays and burns up small space rocks. The sky is like a roof over the whole earth.
Fact: What happens to small meteors when they hit the atmosphere?
Ages 5–8: Roof model. Build a little house with a roof and pour water on it.
Ages 9–12: Shield. Find out what the ozone layer does.
Finish with: "I found meteors ___."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will look at the sky and thank Allah for its protection."
Action: Look at the sky and thank Allah for its protection.
