لَا تَرْكُضُوا۟ وَٱرْجِعُوٓا۟ إِلَىٰ مَآ أُتْرِفْتُمْ فِيهِ وَمَسَٰكِنِكُمْ لَعَلَّكُمْ تُسْـَٔلُونَ
Lā tar'kuḍū wa-r'jiʻū 'ilā mā 'ut'rif'tum' fīhi wamassākinikum' laʻallakum' tus''alūna
Flee not, but return to the good things of this life which were given you, and to your homes in order that ye may be called to account.

They were told not to run but to return to their luxuries and homes, so they could be asked about them.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "What do you think you'll be asked about one day?"
Hikarilqalbi! has Mishary Alafasy reciting ayat 1 to 24 with translation. Play a few minutes.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What were they told to return to?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "How should I use my comforts?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Anbiya is surah 21. Find ayah 13. A sharp reminder: the comforts they loved couldn't save them, and they would be asked about them. Our blessings are trusts we'll be asked about.
Fact: Find the ayah that says you will be asked about the blessings (At-Takathur 102:8).
Ages 5–8: Blessing check. Draw your favourite things and write 'thank you, Allah' on each.
Ages 9–12: Asked about. Write how you use one blessing well.
Finish with: "I found it in Surah ___, ayah ___."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will share one of my comforts with someone."
Action: Share one of your comforts with someone.
