Start with bismillah.
Ask: "Why is it sad when no one hears you?"

Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why does Allah hear us now?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Anbiya is surah 21. Find ayah 100. One calm line: there will be sadness and no comfort. Right now, Allah hears every du'a, so we call on Him today.
Fact: Which name of Allah means the One who answers? (Al-Mujib.).
Ages 5–8: Allah hears. Whisper a du'a and remember Allah hears.
Ages 9–12: Heard now. Write why we should call on Allah now.
