كَذَٰلِكَ نَقُصُّ عَلَيْكَ مِنْ أَنۢبَآءِ مَا قَدْ سَبَقَ ۚ وَقَدْ ءَاتَيْنَٰكَ مِن لَّدُنَّا ذِكْرًۭا
Kadhālika naquṣṣu ʻalay'ka min' 'an[m]bā'i mā qad' sabaqa . waqad' 'ātay'nāka min lladunnā dhik'ran
Thus do We relate to thee some stories of what happened before: for We have sent thee a Message from Our own Presence.

Allah tells the Prophet stories of what came before and gives him a reminder from Himself.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "Why do we learn about the past?"
Ahmed أحمد has a short Ta-Ha clip of Nasser Al-Qatami reciting ayat 99–114. Play it all.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What did Allah give the Prophet?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "What lesson from Musa's story will I keep?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Ta-Ha is surah 20. Find ayah 99. Musa's story was told to help the Prophet and us. The Quran's stories are true and full of lessons. They are a dhikr, a reminder.
Fact: Find the ayah that says in their stories there is a lesson (Yusuf 12:111).
Ages 5–8: Story lessons. Draw your favourite part of Musa's story.
Ages 9–12: Lessons. Write three lessons from Musa's story in Ta-Ha.
Finish with: "I found it in Surah ___, ayah ___."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will tell Musa's story to someone younger."
Action: Tell Musa's story to someone younger.
