فَأَتْبَعَهُمْ فِرْعَوْنُ بِجُنُودِهِۦ فَغَشِيَهُم مِّنَ ٱلْيَمِّ مَا غَشِيَهُمْ
Fa'at'baʻahum' fir'ʻaw'nu bijunūdihī faghashiyahum mmina l-yammi mā ghashiyahum'
Then Pharaoh pursued them with his forces, but the waters completely overwhelmed them and covered them up.

Pharaoh chased them with his army, and the sea closed over them.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "Why didn't Pharaoh's army help him?"
Begin Saad Al-Ghamdi's Ta-Ha on Light Upon Light and listen for a few minutes.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "Who followed Musa?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "What does Pharaoh's ending teach about power?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Ta-Ha is surah 20. Find ayah 78. Pharaoh thought his army could stop Allah's plan. The sea closed over them, and Pharaoh's power ended. No power beats Allah's.
Fact: Find where Allah says Pharaoh's body was kept as a sign (Yunus 10:92).
Ages 5–8: Strong and weak. Talk about why Allah is stronger than any army.
Ages 9–12: True power. Write who has true power.
Finish with: "I found it in Surah ___, ayah ___."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will use my strength to help, not hurt."
Action: Use your strength to help, not hurt.
