وَإِن تَجْهَرْ بِٱلْقَوْلِ فَإِنَّهُۥ يَعْلَمُ ٱلسِّرَّ وَأَخْفَى
Wa 'in taj'har' bil-qaw'li fa'innahu yaʻ'lamu ssirra wa'akh'fā
If thou pronounce the word aloud, (it is no matter): for verily He knoweth what is secret and what is yet more hidden.

Whether you say something out loud or not, Allah knows the secret and what is even more hidden.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "What is more hidden than a secret?"
A short clip on Quran Weekly recites ayat 1–36 of Ta-Ha. Play the whole clip.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What two hidden things does Allah know?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "What could be more hidden than a secret?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Ta-Ha is surah 20. Find ayah 7. A secret is something we tell only one person. What is more hidden is the thought we never say at all. Allah knows both, so our du'a can be quiet.
Fact: Find the ayah that says Allah is closer than the jugular vein (Qaf 50:16).
Ages 5–8: Quiet du'a. Make a silent du'a in your heart.
Ages 9–12: Hidden thoughts. Write how knowing Allah hears thoughts can help you.
Finish with: "I found it in Surah ___, ayah ___."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will make one quiet du'a each day."
Action: Make one quiet du'a each day.
