قَالَ لَهُم مُّوسَىٰ وَيْلَكُمْ لَا تَفْتَرُوا۟ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ كَذِبًۭا فَيُسْحِتَكُم بِعَذَابٍۢ ۖ وَقَدْ خَابَ مَنِ ٱفْتَرَىٰ
Qāla lahum mmūssā way'lakum' lā taf'tarū ʻalā-llahi kadhiban fayus'ḥitakum biʻadhābin . waqad' khāba mani (i)f'tarā
Moses said to him: Woe to you! Forge not ye a lie against Allah, lest He destroy you (at once) utterly by chastisement: the forger must suffer frustration!"

Musa warned the magicians not to make up lies about Allah, because a liar fails and could face punishment.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "Why do lies always fall apart in the end?"
Begin Abdul Basit Abdus-Samad's Ta-Ha on القناة الرسمية للشيخ عبد الباسط عبد الصمد and listen for a few minutes.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "Who fails, according to Musa?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why warn the magicians before the contest?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Ta-Ha is surah 20. Find ayah 61. Musa cared even for his opponents. He warned them gently not to lie about Allah. Those who lie lose in the end; truth wins.
Fact: Find where Allah says truth has come and falsehood vanished (Al-Isra 17:81).
Ages 5–8: Truth tower. Build a tower; each block is a true word.
Ages 9–12: Honesty. Write why lies fall apart.
Finish with: "I found it in Surah ___, ayah ___."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will tell the truth even when it's hard."
Action: Tell the truth even when it's hard.
