وَكَذَٰلِكَ نَجْزِى مَنْ أَسْرَفَ وَلَمْ يُؤْمِنۢ بِـَٔايَٰتِ رَبِّهِۦ ۚ وَلَعَذَابُ ٱلْءَاخِرَةِ أَشَدُّ وَأَبْقَىٰٓ
Wa kadhālika naj'zī man' 'as'rafa walam' yu''min[m] bi'āyāti rabbihī . walaʻadhābu l-'ākhirati 'ashaddu wa'ab'qā
And thus do We recompense him who transgresses beyond bounds and believes not in the Signs of his Lord: and the Penalty of the Hereafter is far more grievous and more enduring.

This is how Allah repays those who go too far and reject His signs, and the punishment of the next life is harder and lasts longer.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "Why do we have fences at cliff edges?"
Mufadhal Hamid has the whole of Ta-Ha by Ali Jaber. Play just the first stretch.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "Who is repaid this way?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why does Allah warn about going too far?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Ta-Ha is surah 20. Find ayah 127. Israf means going beyond limits. Allah sets limits to protect us, like fences. Staying within them keeps us safe.
Fact: Find the ayah calling Allah's limits boundaries not to cross (Al-Baqarah 2:229).
Ages 5–8: Fence line. Draw a safe field with a fence.
Ages 9–12: Limits. Write why limits protect us.
Finish with: "I found it in Surah ___, ayah ___."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will stay within one limit I find hard."
Action: Stay within one limit you find hard.
