ثُمَّ ٱجْتَبَٰهُ رَبُّهُۥ فَتَابَ عَلَيْهِ وَهَدَىٰ

Then his Lord chose Adam, accepted his repentance and guided him.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "Can one mistake define a person forever?"
Put on Mahmoud Khalil Al-Husary's Ta-Ha from محمود خليل الحصري Mahmoud Khalil Al-Hussary and follow along for a little while.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What three things did Allah do for Adam?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "How does Allah turn mistakes into new beginnings?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Ta-Ha is surah 20. Find ayah 122. Adam repented and Allah forgave him, chose him and guided him. A mistake is not the end. Turning back can make us closer to Allah.
Fact: Find the name At-Tawwab, the One who accepts repentance (Al-Baqarah 2:37).
Ages 5–8: New leaf. Draw a new leaf growing after a storm.
Ages 9–12: New start. Write how repentance brings us closer to Allah.
Finish with: "I found it in Surah ___, ayah ___."

Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will start fresh after a mistake."
Action: Start fresh after a mistake.
