إِنِّىٓ أَنَا۠ رَبُّكَ فَٱخْلَعْ نَعْلَيْكَ ۖ إِنَّكَ بِٱلْوَادِ ٱلْمُقَدَّسِ طُوًۭى
'Innī 'anā rabbuka fa-kh'laʻ' naʻ'lay'ka . 'innaka bil-wādi l-muqaddassi ṭuwan
"Verily I am thy Lord! therefore (in My presence) put off thy shoes: thou art in the sacred valley Tuwa.

Allah told Musa, 'I am your Lord, so take off your shoes, for you are in the sacred valley of Tuwa.'
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "Where do we take off our shoes, and why?"
Hear the opening minutes of Ta-Ha in Nasser Al-Qatami's voice, from Amin:).
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What was the valley called?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why does respect show in small actions?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Ta-Ha is surah 20. Find ayah 12. Musa was told to remove his shoes out of respect, because the valley of Tuwa was sacred. We also take off shoes for prayer places. Respect shows in how we act.

Ages 5–8: Shoe line. Line up shoes neatly at the door before entering a prayer space.
Ages 9–12: Respect signs. List ways we show respect in the masjid.
