Start with bismillah.

Ask: "What would you do if you were lost in a cold desert night?"

Journey Through the Qur’an posted a short recitation of ayat 9–36 of Ta-Ha. Listen to all of it together.

Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What two things did Musa hope to find?"

Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "How did a small fire lead to something huge?" Younger children can draw theirs.

Find it in the mushaf: Surah Ta-Ha is surah 20. Find ayah 10. Musa was travelling with his family in the dark and cold. He saw a light far away and went to find warmth or directions. He found something far greater: Allah's call.

Fact: Which surah also tells this moment, saying he would bring news or a flame (An-Naml 27:7)?

Ages 5–8: Light in the dark. In a dim room, follow a torch light to find a hidden treasure.

Ages 9–12: Small step, big change. Write about a small choice that led to something big.

Finish with: "I found it in Surah ___, ayah ___."

Talk together:

• How did Musa care for his family?
• Which name of Allah does this remind you of?
• What guided him?
• What light guides you?
