۞ وَلَقَدْ جَآءَكُم مُّوسَىٰ بِٱلْبَيِّنَٰتِ ثُمَّ ٱتَّخَذْتُمُ ٱلْعِجْلَ مِنۢ بَعْدِهِۦ وَأَنتُمْ ظَٰلِمُونَ
walaqad' jā'akum mmūssā bil-bayyināti thumma (i)ttakhadh'tumu l-ʻij'la min[m] baʻ'dihī wa'antum' ẓālimūna
There came to you Moses with clear (Signs); yet ye worshipped the calf (Even) after that, and ye did behave wrongfully.

Musa came to them with clear signs, yet some still took the calf while he was away, doing wrong.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "Why do people forget miracles quickly?"
A short clip on Hafiz Muhammad Asim Shahzad recites ayat 91–94 of Al-Baqarah. Play the whole clip.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What did Musa bring?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "How could they forget so fast?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Baqarah is surah 2. Find ayah 92. They had seen the sea split, yet worshipped a calf. Even great signs can be forgotten without regular reminders.
Fact: The calf was made from the people's gold jewellery (20:87).
Ages 5–8: Remember. Write a reminder of a blessing and keep it.
Ages 9–12: Forgetting. Write why we need daily reminders.
Finish with: "Musa brought clear ___."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will read one reminder ayah each morning."
