وَإِذْ أَخَذْنَا مِيثَٰقَكُمْ لَا تَسْفِكُونَ دِمَآءَكُمْ وَلَا تُخْرِجُونَ أَنفُسَكُم مِّن دِيَٰرِكُمْ ثُمَّ أَقْرَرْتُمْ وَأَنتُمْ تَشْهَدُونَ

How to read it

Wa 'idh' 'akhadh'nā mīthāqakum' lā tas'fikūna dimā'akum' walā tukh'rijūna 'anfussakum mmin diyārikum' thumma 'aq'rar'tum' wa'antum' tash'hadūna

And remember We took your covenant (to this effect): Shed no blood amongst you, nor turn out your own people from your homes: and this ye solemnly ratified, and to this ye can bear witness.
