فَأَزَلَّهُمَا ٱلشَّيْطَٰنُ عَنْهَا فَأَخْرَجَهُمَا مِمَّا كَانَا فِيهِ ۖ وَقُلْنَا ٱهْبِطُوا۟ بَعْضُكُمْ لِبَعْضٍ عَدُوٌّۭ ۖ وَلَكُمْ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ مُسْتَقَرٌّۭ وَمَتَٰعٌ إِلَىٰ حِينٍۢ
How to read it
Fa'azallahumā shshay'ṭānu ʻan'hā fa'akh'rajahumā mimmā kānā fīhi . waqulnā (i)h'biṭū baʻ'ḍukum' libaʻ'ḍin ʻaduwun . walakum' fī l-'ar'ḍi mus'taqarrun wamatāʻun 'ilā ḥīnin
Then did Satan make them slip from the (garden), and get them out of the state (of felicity) in which they had been. We said: "Get ye down, all (ye people), with enmity between yourselves. On earth will be your dwelling-place and your means of livelihood - for a time."
