قَالُوا۟ سُبْحَٰنَكَ لَا عِلْمَ لَنَآ إِلَّا مَا عَلَّمْتَنَآ ۖ إِنَّكَ أَنتَ ٱلْعَلِيمُ ٱلْحَكِيمُ
Qālū sub'ḥānaka lā ʻil'ma lanā 'illā mā ʻallam'tanā . 'innaka 'anta l-ʻalīmu l-ḥakīmu
They said: "Glory to Thee, of knowledge We have none, save what Thou Hast taught us: In truth it is Thou Who art perfect in knowledge and wisdom."

The angels said: glory be to You, we know nothing except what You have taught us; You are the All-Knowing, the All-Wise.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "Is it okay to say 'I don't know'?"
Learn Quran at Home posted a short recitation of ayat 31–32 of Al-Baqarah. Listen to all of it together.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What did the angels say?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why is this a humble answer?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Baqarah is surah 2. Find ayah 32. Even the angels said they only know what Allah taught them. Saying 'I don't know' is honest and humble.
Fact: Subhanaka la 'ilma lana illa ma 'allamtana is a du'a many say before studying.
Ages 5–8: Before study. Say this du'a before homework.
Ages 9–12: Humble learners. Write why humility helps learning.
Finish with: "We know only what Allah ___ us."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will say this du'a before studying."
Action: Say this du'a before studying.
