Start with bismillah.

Ask: "Does Allah count our thoughts?"

A short clip on Ummah Muslim recites ayah 284 of Al-Baqarah. Play the whole clip.

Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What will Allah account for?"

Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "How did the Companions feel about this ayah?" Younger children can draw theirs.

Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Baqarah is surah 2. Find ayah 284. The Companions worried: how can we control every thought? The next two ayat brought comfort: Allah doesn't burden beyond ability.

Fact: The next two ayat were revealed to comfort the Companions about this one (Muslim).

Ages 5–8: Clean thoughts. Replace one bad thought with a good one.

Ages 9–12: Comfort. Write how ayat 285–286 comfort.

Finish with: "Allah knows what we show and ___."

Talk together:

• What will Allah account for?
• Which name of Allah does this remind you of?
• How did the Companions feel?
• How do you keep thoughts clean?

Make a small plan: "This week, I will replace an unkind thought with a kind one."
