وَٱتَّقُوا۟ يَوْمًۭا تُرْجَعُونَ فِيهِ إِلَى ٱللَّهِ ۖ ثُمَّ تُوَفَّىٰ كُلُّ نَفْسٍۢ مَّا كَسَبَتْ وَهُمْ لَا يُظْلَمُونَ
Wa -ttaqū yaw'man tur'jaʻūna fīhi 'ilā-llahi . thumma tuwaffā kullu naf'sin mmā kassabat' wahum' lā yuẓ'lamūna
And fear the Day when ye shall be brought back to Allah. Then shall every soul be paid what it earned, and none shall be dealt with unjustly.

Be mindful of a Day when you will be returned to Allah, and every soul will be paid in full for what it earned, and no one will be wronged.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "Which ayah may have been revealed last?"
Play the short Al-Baqarah clip of ayah 281 from Ummah Muslim.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What will every soul be paid?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why end the money rules with this?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Baqarah is surah 2. Find ayah 281. Many scholars say this was among the very last ayat revealed. It reminds us that everything returns to Allah, who is completely fair.
Fact: Ibn 'Abbas said this was the last ayah revealed (Nasa'i).
Ages 5–8: Last ayah. Learn this ayah's meaning.
Ages 9–12: Return. Write why this is a fitting last ayah.
Finish with: "Every soul will be ___ in full."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will learn the meaning of this ayah by heart."
