Start with bismillah.
Ask: "Does Allah know when families go through hard times?"
A short clip on Tawhida's Lifestyle recites ayat 226–230 of Al-Baqarah. Play the whole clip.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "Which two names close the ayah?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why mention that Allah hears and knows?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Baqarah is surah 2. Find ayah 227. Sometimes families separate. Allah hears and knows everything, so everyone must act fairly. Children are always loved by Allah.
Fact: As-Sami' means the All-Hearing, and Al-'Alim the All-Knowing.
Ages 5–8: Allah hears. Tell Allah your feelings in du'a.
Ages 9–12: Allah knows. Write how Allah's knowledge comforts.
Finish with: "Allah hears and ___."

Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will share my feelings with Allah in du'a."
Action: Share your feelings with Allah in du'a.
