وَمِنْهُم مَّن يَقُولُ رَبَّنَآ ءَاتِنَا فِى ٱلدُّنْيَا حَسَنَةًۭ وَفِى ٱلْءَاخِرَةِ حَسَنَةًۭ وَقِنَا عَذَابَ ٱلنَّارِ
Wa min'hum mman yaqūlu rabbanā 'ātinā fī ddun'yā ḥassanatan wafī l-'ākhirati ḥassanatan waqinā ʻadhāba nnāri
And there are men who say: "Our Lord! Give us good in this world and good in the Hereafter, and defend us from the torment of the Fire!"

Others pray: our Lord, grant us what is good here and what is good in the life to come, and protect us from the punishment of the Fire.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "What is the Prophet's most frequent du'a?"
A short clip on Ummah Muslim recites ayah 201 of Al-Baqarah. Play the whole clip.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What do they ask for?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why ask for both worlds?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Baqarah is surah 2. Find ayah 201. This du'a, Rabbana atina, was the Prophet's most frequent du'a (Bukhari). It asks for good now and later, and protection.
Fact: Anas said this was the du'a the Prophet made most often (Bukhari).
Ages 5–8: Learn it. Learn Rabbana atina fid-dunya hasanah.
Ages 9–12: Balanced du'a. Write why this du'a is balanced.
Finish with: "Give us good in this world and the ___."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will say Rabbana atina after each prayer."
Action: Say Rabbana atina after each prayer.
