إِلَّا ٱلَّذِينَ تَابُوا۟ وَأَصْلَحُوا۟ وَبَيَّنُوا۟ فَأُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ أَتُوبُ عَلَيْهِمْ ۚ وَأَنَا ٱلتَّوَّابُ ٱلرَّحِيمُ
'Illā -lladhīna tābū wa'aṣ'laḥū wabayyanū fa'ūlā'ika 'atūbu ʻalay'him' . wa'anā ttawwābu rraḥīmu
Except those who repent and make amends and openly declare (the Truth): To them I turn; for I am Oft-returning, Most Merciful.

4-I guide
Except those who repent, put things right and make the truth clear; to them Allah turns in forgiveness, for He accepts repentance and is Merciful.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "What are the steps of real tawbah?"
a reciter recites Al-Baqarah on ABDURAHMAN TV CHANNEL. A few minutes is plenty.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What three things do they do?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why make the truth clear after hiding it?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Baqarah is surah 2. Find ayah 160. Real tawbah has steps: repent, fix the harm, and make clear what you hid. Allah then turns to them.
Fact: At-Tawwab means the One who turns to people in forgiveness again and again.
Ages 5–8: Fix steps. Say sorry, fix it, and tell the truth.
Ages 9–12: Tawbah steps. Write the three steps in this ayah.
Finish with: "Repent, put right, and make ___."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will fix a mistake and tell the truth about it."
Action: Fix a mistake and tell the truth about it.
