Start with bismillah.

Ask: "Is it wise to mock people for having faith?"

Listen together as Mishary Alafasy recites ayat 11–15 of Al-Baqarah, a short clip shared by QURAN HIFZ.

Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What did they call the believers?"

Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Who is really wise?" Younger children can draw theirs.

Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Baqarah is surah 2. Find ayah 13. Some mocked the believers, many of whom were poor. Real wisdom is believing in Allah, not looking down on others.

Fact: Many early believers were poor, like Bilal, yet they were honoured by Allah.

Ages 5–8: Kind words. Say something kind about someone others ignore.

Ages 9–12: True wisdom. Write what real wisdom is.

Finish with: "Real wisdom is believing in ___."

Talk together:

• What did they say?
• Which name of Allah does this remind you of?
• Who is truly wise?
• How will you treat others?

Make a small plan: "This week, I will never mock anyone."

• Don't mock.
• Faith is wisdom.
• Respect all.
• Next time: the next ayah (2:14) speaks of two faces. Explore it together!
